Bright Brief - A Likely Alliance
The Story (and the Tension) Builds ...
Before we get into today’s Bright Brief, I want to offer a sincere THANK YOU to all of the recent additions to the Burning Bright Substack. And a special thanks to a few new paid subscribers. Because of folks like you, I have been able to devote a BIT more time to this publication, offering more frequent content in addition to my occasional long-form features.
As the Bright Army grows, I hope to continue expanding the content here.

Now, on to the Brief …
A Likely Alliance
It seems that we can’t go a week without the cliché, “global tensions are high” talking point being passed through yet another filter.
Sadly, it’s all too true at the moment, as you are no doubt aware.
In addition to soaring inflation, energy costs and general cultural upheaval in the west, it seems that the would-be powers that are currently occupying the White House (or the White House set,) are dead set on agitating not just the military superpower of the east, but also the financial and economic superpower.
But hey, the current occupiers are nothing if not ambitious. Why stop at one or the other when it comes to inflaming tensions with Russia and China? Why not stir both pots at once, and with the same shriveled, slack jawed Pelosian ladle?
For that is just what the Deep State Doctors ordered.
Last week, the Moscow Times reported that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “certainly we are in solidarity with China,” when asked about the heightened—and largely publicized—spat over House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Asian tour, which brings all new meaning to the term, “island-hopping.”
Now, if one were to look at this whole situation through a normie lens, one does not necessarily have to come away believing that an open media alliance between Russia and China is, in the words of my aptly-named Russia series, ‘Righteous.’ Nor, however, does said normie have to see this budding alliance as anything other than what it is to suit our purposes in the great cognitive theater of war we currently find ourselves in.
What it is, in a word, is quite terrifying.
Now, you may be expecting me to offer a twist here, if you’ve become familiar with my writing style. But I’ll do no such thing. The prospect of Russia and China joining forces in the media IS terrifying.
What we want to drill into, however, is exactly WHO it is terrifying for.
Ah. There’s that twist you were looking for.
Now, I have said before that the Chinese front in this fifth-generational World War 3 is highly obscured, and I haven’t spent nearly enough time looking into it to be confident in anything other than very broad, trend line-focused Macro narratives. That said, I have spent a LOT of time observing and studying Russia, both in the past, the present and, in projecting their—and by extension, the world’s—future.
Thus, I do not see a public alliance between the two as anything other than ‘terrifying,’ but I’ll go ahead and tip my hand in that, the only decentralized, global and increasingly desperate, fractured faction I see the fear being actualized for is the very Deep State we’ve been tracking, documenting and—narratively, at least—smacking around for the better part of five years now.
You see, China and Russia’s unified public stance is not focused on the United States as an entity, nor its people. Their union is one of necessity, and its ire is focused specifically on the very corrupt apparatus patriots such as Donald J. Trump, his advisors and his (maybe) Devolved Combatant Commanders are scattering to the winds as we speak.
In this way, you might begin to see how a ‘terrifying’ narrative being introduced to the normie hivemind is not ALWAYS false in the way the overblown COVID resurgence and Monkeypox hysteria is likely to be. Sometimes, as I often say, the Deep State-controlled media apparatus comes to the right conclusions for the wrong reasons, or, more aptly in this case, they use the right reasons to come to the wrong conclusions.
As I have said before, the best liars gild their lies in a veneer of truth. All the better to fool you with.
But we’re not fooled, are we?
In this way, we can observe that, despite not knowing nearly as much about China’s actions and intentions in the ongoing Shadow War, other players on the board can reveal much. If I am confident in nothing else, I am at least certain that Vladimir Putin is on the side of sovereignty in this new generation of war. If Putin is rooting for China, there is a reason for it, and I do not believe totalitarianism or utilitarianism is at the root of it.
Furthermore, moving beyond the private fears of the Deep State actors and their MSM enablers, and zooming out into the Macro space to take a look at the information war, the war for the public consciousness or the Mind War, as I most often refer to it, a budding alliance between the two ‘new Axis’ powers in the east represents as close to a prime, existential threat for humanity, and brings us closer to the doorstep of WW3 in the normie hivemind than any event, micro or macro has since Vietnam.
For now, it doesn’t matter if these tensions are actualized by any sort of ‘hot’ conflict. What matters is that our fellow man is being conditioned—and thus, traumatized—to expect that they will.
How is this a good thing, you ask?
Because, as I have argued in Righteous Russia, the greater the trauma, the greater the catharsis. And while I will dive into this concept in much greater detail in a future long-form, for now, all you need to focus on is that strange and seemingly-contradictory fact that, the more our sleeping fellows become frightened under the current leadership conditions, the more our movement, and our hidden leaders grow in power and influence, and the more [their] grip on power is lessened, degree by aching degree.
After all, what Admin has occupied public power during this period of heightened and ratcheting global tensions? What leadership has been responsible for inflaming said tensions with said superpowers rather than mitigating them?
Who brought Russia and China together, teetering on the edge of a war that could be the final war?
Now, who can or could make them step back?
Who recently made remarks about the world being on the precipice of World War 3 quite publicly?
“Remember that,” he says. “Remember I said that, too.”
Why … none other than the Great MAGA King himself. A man who seems to have an uncanny knack for predictions.
The stage is set. The pieces are moving.
Not all is as it seems, and yet, all is precisely as it MUST seem.
