"Republican skin suit" is going to stay with me. I may need to reuse it, appropriately credited, of course.

Burning Bright's avatar

I've been saying it for years.

It just works too well.

Excellent read! I appreciate your analogy & I do agree that President Trump has a winning strategy that I pray I'm alive still to see the results of! I understand how cunning these people are cause I truly hv no idea what's next...I've stood on many rugs, Happily lol I'd like to think ive grown alot but it seems more than not I'm a bit black pilled, or just really f'n tired, fed up & rightly so, I think, pissed off!

Burning Bright's avatar

Totally get it, Dee.

Sometimes we need to shake ourselves a bit out of the emotional reaction to the TV characters and look at the broader strokes.

I also am a believer in posture, and I like Trump's quite a bit of late, which should provide comfort within the chaos.

Dee's avatar

Yes, and alot of entertainment I do laugh more these days 😉

Deep Breath…Trust the Plan 😉

I tend to find the theater of the absurd entertaining…because I do trust The Plan! Like ALtab says, BB and Badlands are a daily dose of sanity!

Dee's avatar

I Do trust Trump

Dee's avatar

Oh well, what IS the plan...too many rugs, like I said...✌️

Do you follow Promethean Action? Susan Kokinda and Barbara Boyd. On YouTube. Or Rich Does Politics? (YT)

Or read Badlands Briefs and Takes, M-F?

It helps to know what’s really going on and the above are excellent sources.

Dee's avatar

Yeah been digging since 2011...how I ended up at Badlands 🙏🏼

Featherjourney's avatar

No one can deny these are interesting times! The very best understanding of “interesting” comes from the brightest thinkers among us of which BurningBright is a most key player.

Are you tired of me telling you that I love your mind? I think it every time I read one of your posts! 🙏❤️🇺🇸

Burning Bright's avatar

Actually I'm tired of it!

JK JK.

You can keep saying it.

Awesome, I'm not the only one haha 💜

The support is appreciated.

I have no reason to believe Trump will not continue his winning strategy regarding the Republicans. And quite a few reasons to believe he will. Probability is on our side. As Elon Musk once said (and I very loosely paraphrase) The outcome will be the one that's most entertaining.

BTW How do you feel about parentheses? I know how you feel about the Oxford Comma.

Burning Bright's avatar

I'm not huge into parentheses, but that's only because I think it creates distance between writer and reader.

As you can see, I was big on EM dashes long before AI started fitting them into every paragraph.

Every time some talking head claims the Dumorats are going to win in the midterms or point to some pole stating the same I think of Bagdad Bob:-)

Yes, the entire facade of R/D is fake & gay and I am delighted that Trump views the entire Uniparty with the distain it deserves.

I am ready for HUGE change... it is fun to consider the possibilities when we don't confine our minds to the way it has always been.

God Wins!

God Bless!!!

Burning Bright's avatar

My next Brief is going to be a fun follow-up to this one.

Well stated, Joe!

Seems like something similar is happening in Canada. Carney, Canada's Biden is starting to get bad press. Though his job is not quite done, the Liberal party is itself in shambles and on it's way down (it being Canada, that spiral will take awhile). Bloc Quebecois, long the true political power, have retreated into themselves, waiting out the doom train. NDP are on the defensive, their only real power in BC, where their dirty dealings have been exposed and BC getting less Liberal and socialist by the day. As our system is a tad different than yours, this will confuse Canadians. Oh, and the Conservatives are mostly just waiting in the wings with a an untried Poilievre (how to spell his name right - after Poil, it's just a 'lie.') at the helm.

Joe Kronner's avatar

We will welcome our 51st State with open arms:-)

Burning Bright's avatar

There's only so long you can boil that frog.

My in-laws are Canadian, so I've been watching them for signs of psychological pressure.

The Boomers are doing okay up there.

The Millennials are ... not.

Bryce E. 'Esquire' Rasmussen's avatar

Also Gen Alpha. They are in the nothing left to lose phase.

I vote for Trump to finish the job!

Laid out so clearly! I do hope that something dramatic happens to Thune and company before the midterms-listening to him speak on the save act as hopeless ‘except for maybe in parts’ instead of leading by persuasion and calling a vote is cringe. Maybe a fetterman style brain injury to set him straight? I know it’s all an act but he’s getting away with it and that pisses me off.

Burning Bright's avatar

Perhaps the Midterms themselves will be the thing that happens (or does not happen) to the Uniparty itself!

Joe Kronner's avatar

I don't watch... and sleep much better that way:-)

Yes, we who follow Badlands can see this, many of those who make it a habit to study and follow all these stories may know this - but as I see it from the lower rungs of the ladder, not many of the populace see this or understand it, much, much less agree with it. How can the "normies" as you like to call them, be brought to understand and accept it? When I express the least doubt about their established ideas and habits of thought, they dismiss me as the family idiot (one of their "habits of thought). I made a little joke once with some of them, "Wouldn't it be a hoot if Trump turns out to be a political genius." Everyone looked slightly amused and slightly embarrassed and changed the subject. How do you get to them?

[BTW, someone below mentions "how you feel about the oxford comma." I'm old enough to feel that it is a very useful tool in my grab bag. - And you??]

Burning Bright's avatar

Completely understand this, Robert.

To be totally honest, I do NOT try to 'wake up the normies' any longer.

I simply observe the battlespace, project what I believe is and will occur on this paradigm shift, and believe normies will essentially be phased into a new corporeal reality that they will either recognize on a delay, or else not at all, but if it's the latter, they will not be actively opposing it.

See my note abote re: the Oxford Comma.

In short, I believe it is a halting abomination to the rhythm of the written word.

The Uniparty system, as you have clearly explained in the terminology of the opposition control dynamic, is bent on achieving a Totalitarian system whether it is clothed as Communism or Fascism the ultimate goal is the extermination of a Constitutionally limited Republic initially established on a Free Market system. The Constitutionally limited Republican system only survives when people practice First Principles in their conduct, best espoused in the life and teaching of Jesus Christ.

Horseshoe theory is being accelerated, wherein the so-called Left and the so-called Right are merging in full view as being two sides of the same dialectic, which is to say, two curves along the same ring.

1994: Republicans win the House for the first time in 40 years. They forced Clinton to curtail Welfare and created the balanced budget by 2000. I was 25. It was glorious.

1995: Government shutdown from Nov 1995 to Jan 1996, no doubt supported by the controlled opposition republicans.

Gingrich resigns in 1998. He was the most effective speaker of his recent time. Kicked out.

2000: Balanced budget; overall govt outlays were still far in the red.

After: Debt

Trump is fighting the globalist bankers - interest payments - starting with the City of London and its children(the Fed, etc.). They are running the IRGC, et al.

I pray every day that Trump - us - wins to bring back the American System and all other nations who are achieving sovereignty. Russia, et al.

Burning Bright's avatar

There have always been good mixed in with the bad, but these data points prove out the thesis that adhering to a political brand was never a winning strategy for a sovereign people.

Given that the D/R parties are the same, taking down the D's will also result in taking down the R's with the help of Iran. I think the rise of the DSA within the D Party is what would have happened if the script that was allowed to play out pre-Trump. I think that by being a disruptor, Trump changed the way the script was supposed to play out, primarily by accelerating the timeline. I think that once the dust settles with Iran (fake dust, I might add), the normies may very well conclude that there is indeed a Uniparty and that most people regardless of the party registration are in the big middle, where the disagreements aren't over culture or history, but discussions on how to move on from here.

eileen's avatar

I can't help but wonder if the rise of the DSA was part of the plan. Trump's plan involved the acceleration of the timeline, like the covid scam whittled to four months rather than a decade. I think the center left on its path pre-Trump would have become the new Nazi party AKA the Socialists originally starting as a benign movement from the likes of Bernie Sanders then becoming what the party is today over a decade or even a generation. Trump accelerated it so the world could see in real time, the D party morph into the National Socialists. Who else had a party of that name? Oh the guy with that strange moustache who almost conquered Europe if it wasn't for his twin brother, the USSR.
