Recently, Patrick Gunnels made some comments regarding his stance that Americans should get comfortable with the idea of debt forgiveness on the basis that citizens of the United States—and everywhere, for that matter—have been unknowingly cast in a cycle of debt slavery whose chains and consequences are being felt exponentially as each generation advances through a corrupt, oligarchic system of central banking.
In short, I agree, and I also agree that, if such a dissolution of the corrupt debt slavery system is to be implemented, OTHER Americans MUST NOT be punished as a result, and could even be looking at rewards of their own in the event that they do not possess the specific form of debt we’re looking at today.
This concept will be heavily explored in the writing team Will Zoll’s new and ongoing Evolution of Slavery series, which debuted last week. I highly recommend following along.
As you know, I tend to zoom out a bit when we’re talking about the biggest stories occupying the Collective Mind, and try to observe the Micro in an attempt to gather the Macro.
While there are many Narrative Deployments—positive, negative and everything in between—at play in the current Information and Mind Wars, the narrative of Student Debt ‘Forgiveness’ is one of the most prevalent and controversial.
Proponents of the Biden Admin’s proposal—and one of its key pillars of the 2020 election campaign cycle—point to the crushing debt millennials and Gen Z are emerging from the University indoctrination system with, as they have been sold a false bill of goods and find themselves on the other end laden with crippling debt and with no real professional prospects to speak of that can do more than simply service said debt, to say nothing of producing and engaging with would-be capitalist American society on a constructive level.
Opponents of the proposal point to tried and true ‘no free lunch’ arguments, claiming that such a campaign can only harm the collective American taxpayer at the expense of those who entered into said debt slavery of their own volition.
This is a complex issue that I’m not currently particularly interested in arguing on one side or the other. For my purposes here, I’d like to explore the prospect that, whether this forgiveness program goes into effect as proposed by the ‘Acting’ Admin or not, the end result in the public consciousness will be negative for the ruling party ahead of the 2022 Midterm Elections.
My top-down view on the situation starts with a simple observation, prompted by an exchange by one of my favorite follows on Truth Social, Awakened Outlaw:
Before one even explores the potential fallout of a given Potential Event (the narrative or story that is being sold,) one must first come to the realization that Potential Events do not always manifest or collapse into Actual Events.
Thus, for our purposes here, we’re going to explore both scenarios, and we’re going to give a simple, brief overview of why either one is very bad for [them] from a public optics perspective, and very good for ‘our side.’
If the Biden Admin DOES go through with a $10,000 Student Loan Forgiveness program, they run into the following narrative issues:
Those who would ostensibly benefit from such a dissolution of debt have already had payments deferred for over two years, as student loan deferments became commonplace following the lockdowns of early 2020. Thus, in the most blunt, literal interpretation imaginable, those in favor of said hand-waving, magical executive power will have their lives unchanged for the time being.
Polling regarding this proposed ‘solution’ to only a portion of the country’s core financial issue is decidedly split and leaning negative among those who had student debt and have already serviced or paid off said debt.
If such a program is to be implemented, the majority of Americans fear the implications on their own finances. In short, who is going to pay for the magical disappearing act of billions in leverage? The Biden Admin might say one thing, but much of the public—even its own dogged and desperate supporters—have grown used to the idea that what is said rarely lines up with what is deployed.
Most immediate and salient to the America First movement is the very real fact that, if this is actioned, it gives Republican and Trump-aligned politicians significant narrative ammo heading into the 2022 Midterms, as they can hammer an embattled Administration with yet more charges of fiscal irresponsibility in the midst of record-setting inflation.
In short, the practical backlash to said action can be summed up in the following exchange between Elizabeth Warren and opponents to the proposal:
Now, if the Biden Admin DOES NOT go through with this program, or CANNOT get it over the final Congressional or legal hurdles, we get firmly into Narrative Whiplash territory:
As referenced above, the failure of the Biden Admin to live up to yet another of its firm, dramatic and somewhat naive campaign promises will be the latest in a long, unbroken line of broken promises. Sometimes, politics really are as simple as: have you done what you said you were going to do?
Another failure to either advance a bill through a legislative branch the ruling party ostensibly controls OR to advance this bill through as-yet undefined Executive powers will be seen as another condemnation of Biden’s mandate to lead the nation in the most practical and literal terms imaginable.
If said proposal stumbles publicly BEFORE the 2022 Midterm Elections, which are already projected to be a bloodbath for the Democratic Party, voter enthusiasm among the ‘Acting’ President’s and Congressional Majority’s supporters will be at all-time lows as the enthusiasm and drive of their opponents—us—surges.
Returning to my recently-coined and oft-cited term, this will be the latest Narrative Whiplash to assault and therefor penetrate the Collective Mind, as what is said and what occurs rarely seem to line up except in the most mirror-like perversion.
With this proposed cognitive cypher applied to the Student Loan Forgiveness narrative, I believe reactionary takes gain us nothing, and I believe, on a long enough timeline, such a move will ultimately benefit the America First movement and the truth community at large as it concerns everything from what should be bipartisan support for the exposure of a racket of a debt-based ponzi scheme of an economy to the powers and promises of the most clownish Administration in our nation’s recent history.
In closing, when even former Clinton and Obama advisors are publicly bashing the ‘acting’ Admin, and when the most left-wing and establishment rags are parroting said criticisms, you know [they] are caught dead to rights, which makes one wonder what kind of show we’re watching here, and exactly who the ‘Acting’ Admin is taking its orders from.
No matter your personal read on the Narrative Deployment, remember that the news is largely a story … and stories can have many twists and turns depending on who’s writing them.
