Loved another one BB... sorry, not sorry that you did not write crap:-)
There has been a story in the background of my little rural eastern North Carolina Tier 1 County the past few months. The Dumorat Congress man for our area has been rattling the data center bad chain. So, the DS Rat Bastards are running scared and trying to get ahead of this story. Articles like this one show the true benefit side of this discussion. Once you can see past the fear/scarcity boogieman the DS Rat Bastards always try to use (they are a 1 trick pony) everything looks different.
I am very encouraged by General Kwast's Space Revolution podcast and his current focus on using Chris Ponder's "system” to discern Truth... very exciting time to be alive!
Data Centers scare me . So far, eastern portions (more populated areas) have had enough healthy people to fight their land/water/town grabs. Yet less populated areas have less folks to fight their grabs just may be successful. So sad. I pray restrictions are placed on local water use and the horrible noise they make 24/7 … and worse dumping their toxic, smelly water waste that leaves land useless for farming or ranching till Heaven comes down! I’m old and can’t see well for long every day, but real people are being affected. Maybe I’ll get to go up to Heaven before I see our County plundered. Those able, please keep fighting! 🙏✝️🙏
The GOOD thing about the earnest battle over this trend is the fact that Donald Trump is directly weighing in, and usually responds to public mandate with force and direction.
I have fun predicting that President DJT will not leave the standard presidential legacy of a library with his name on it, but will unveil a gloriously beautiful golden data center. He will say…“It will be BiG, it will be BEAUTIFUL. Nobody will have ever seen anything like it. The power will be astronomical. Something only Trump could make happen.”
The usual suspect institutions are listed on the signatories of the We Must Act declaration. These people must be about as fun as a root canal. The London School of Economics rep has a name for the ages: Christopher A. Pissarides. If I was from Long Island the name would be given to someone with a hot sports car: "you gotta pissa of a ride."
“This is a coordinated assault.” But, you’re absolutely correct….this is a construction site! Golden, indeed, just as the global crime family collapses! Thank you, BB!
- water is at a premium, meaning not plentiful in some planned ai sites
- loss of farmland or natural habitat that humans use recreationally
- close to larger centres where noise and light pollution will be issues
- no mention of how heat surpluses will be diverted, could have greenhouses, but no
- no mention of how surplus water will be handled
These concerns are not addressed so very difficult to see who benefits in Canada, doesn't seem to be the population. Most people use AI in some way. But no shortage right now. So why do we need more AI?
How are the AI owners going to make money? They need data from somewhere to sell. Where do the owners get more data from? Us people? Do I want to give AI owners more data by having ai pull in data from everyone living their lives so they can market it, and try to sell things to us?
The opposition to AI does appear to raise valid concerns. Is there foreign money behind this opposition? IDK
Will China benefit if AI centers do not get built in North America? Probably. But we already can't stop China from interfering in American and Canadian elections.

Keep up the good work (no crap:-)
God Wins!
God Bless!!!
It's a nuanced conversation, but reverse indicators, as always avail us well when we don't know which direction to go in.

What about our fears that these are enabling the digital prison that is being constructed around us.

Haha. That's an interesting thought!
A digital Library of Alexandria, perhaps?
I like it!
Yep. Anytime they are saying that something is bad? You always know not only is there another side to the story, but it’s probably good!
It's a simple indicator, but a consistent one.
Excellent! Very well constructed. You amaze me.
Great piece and timing once again BB.
"That is why the fight is so fierce." Indeed. The globalists(communists) need scarcity to organize.
LFG!
Excellent read! I'm old & set in my ways...ya'll really open my eyes to seeing things through a different lens! Thank you!
That's the hope, Dee!
The enemy is scaring many who are America First. I am sharing this with them because it makes perfect sense. Thank you BB.
Hope it helps, Terry, or at least brings some nuance to the conversation.

It really is a whose who of not just names, but institutions that stand innately opposed to our agenda.

I believe you're onto something there. :)
What position to take on AI data centers?
In Canada,
- power will be supplied by oil and gas
- water is at a premium, meaning not plentiful in some planned ai sites
- loss of farmland or natural habitat that humans use recreationally
- close to larger centres where noise and light pollution will be issues
- no mention of how heat surpluses will be diverted, could have greenhouses, but no
- no mention of how surplus water will be handled
