Into the Badlands
An Exciting Announcement for Burning Bright
“You are the news now. Handle with care.”
The words may have emanated from a certain letter-themed account on an anonymous image board five years ago, but they have since come to define what can only be described as a decentralized citizen news and intelligence gathering and dissemination operation that has morphed into a key driver of online discourse regarding some of the most important narratives of our time.
And those words have never been more relevant than they are today, on the eve of one of the most important Midterm election cycles in our nation’s history.
But what is the news? And how do we take it over without becoming a part of the very information obfuscation institution we’ve helped to destabilize in recent years?
These are just some of the questions we’re trying to answer as a larger part of what we seek to accomplish at the recently-announced Badlands Media, a collection of independent researchers, citizen journalists, Anons and free thinkers as varied in their approaches and perspectives as they are unified in common purpose—that being the hunt for truth in all aspects of the shifting sands in the ongoing information war between the forces of Sovereignty and Globalism the world over.
Badlands Media was launched by Jon Herold/Patel Patriot of Devolution fame, along with The Kate Awakening, and I am thrilled to announce that they have asked me to come aboard as a featured contributor to both the Badlands Media Substack and Rumble Channel, where I will be contributing original features and co-hosting the Devolution Power Hour on Wednesday nights with Patel Patriot along with future shows to be announced.
Badlands already features some of my favorite names in the Truth Community, some of whom have already become close friends of mine, including Herold himself (but don’t tell him I said that,) Kate, Kyle at Just Human and Patrick Gunnels of Reading Epic Threads fame.
Together, we believe we can bring this community something special and unique, delivering a platform that is as varied in its content as it is steadfast in its mission to discover the truths buried in the matrix of lies the powers that would be have been weaving for generations.
I will continue to manage the Burning Bright Substack, delivering as much content as always, so the Badlands content will simply be adding more to my plate. While the task before me is daunting, I truly feel called to do this, and I am extremely happy to have been asked by the founders to join, just as I am grateful to all of you for bringing attention to my work ever since the launch of the Righteous Russia series in January.
While all of the names you’ll see popping up on the Badlands platform over the next few weeks have been fighting in their own modest pockets of the info war for years, many of us have done so while balancing precarious financial and social situations, leaving us unable to devote as much time to Truth Community pursuits as our followers would ask of us.
That is what Badlands Media seeks to correct.
Along with the growing support of the Bright Army here at Burning Bright, collaborating with Badlands may allow me to inch ever closer to doing this citizen journalist thing full time instead of continuously burning the candle at both ends.
All Badlands Media content will be free for subscribers on both Substack and Rumble, mirroring my own philosophy at Burning Bright, with funding coming in the form of donations, optional subscriptions and sponsorships.
That said, the best way to support my work is still to consider a paid subscription at Burning Bright.
Each and every one of you reading these words today has been and will continue to be a valued member of this community, and for those of you who have been able to chip in either a paid membership or the occasional cup of coffee, words cannot express how humbled I am by the support.
Badlands is here to attempt to form a decentralized, but unified alliance of creators who can help to buoy each other in these uncertain times, as we attempt to guide this community toward a world eventually free from the grips of the Media Industrial Complex.

The answer is: Maintain integrity, credibility and staying within yourselves.
The "News" is just the reporting of events. This happened, or this person did this - and so on.
The "Fake News" is taking current events and reporting them in the wrapper of a narrative. Thats how people get duped. So Badlands should not only aspire to be a "real news" outlet, but more of a "Real Journalism" outlet. Which it is. Diving into events and offering different analysis and ways to view root causes and effects, is the true value of real journalism.
Starting Nov. 5th 2020, it was so freaking hard to find so called "truthers" and content providers that actually knew what they were talking about and which you could say had integrity, credibility and staying within yourselves. More harm was done within the "alternate media outlets" then good for a long time. This is why there are "doomers". They were led to believe that "we got this", "this is the biggest sting operation that ever was", "Trump and the Patriots are in control", "there is going to be a major BOOM and reveal, mass arrests and this will all be over soon". Never happened, nor will it, in fact in many eyes, things got worse. Then along came Jon. mature, credible, humble and never dug his heels in so deep he couldn't change direction. Devolution "theory" was presented in such a way and evolved around substantiated facts, it it hard to dispute. But easy to mis-understand it's purpose.
Because of this, other credible content providers started to be pointed out by Jon that surfaced a completely new strata of thinking and approach to this war we find ourselves in. And others started to coalesce around him. To be fair, were it not for Jon I would not have been aware of most of the people I follow now, including you. This is why I wish Badlands Media the best. Creating an ecosystem for credible journalists, commentary and sober thinking is what this country needs right. I hope you, Jon and all the others grow, prosper and continue to "scale without the shale" as they say. And when I can - I will support you as much as I can. Just "Stay within yourself".

Excellent news. Your previously unannounced Devolution Hour appearance last night was also a pleasure, as always.
This is as good a place as any also to acknowledge your admonition to the movement about expecting fast results and fast resolutions in this current war we are in. I guess people are exhausted and ache for a restoration of life "before the coup".
While understandable, this sentiment misses the basic fact that the coup has actually been going on since Eisenhower, perhaps even Truman. Indeed, some trace it back all the way to Wilson himself (cf The Creature from Jekyll Island).
I believe we (ie Trump and MAGA) have, in many ways, already won the war. As I have stated elsewhere, we are seeing the results of the enemy's frustration at losing, in the terror being visited upon us in seemingly increasing ways, daily.
But winning the war is not going to be enough.
America and the erstwhile free world face a daunting task ahead, comparable in some ways to the process of denazification of Germany after WWII. America is going to have to figure out firstly how to root out and punish the enemies who populate every single level of American society. Secondly, we are going to have to figure out how to overwrite the decades of toxic infiltration of our institutions that has been occurring ever since the Frankfurt School set up shop in America in the early 1900s.
This process will take generations to accomplish. Many of the lessons we have hopefully learned (from, inter alia, the failures of the denazification process and the completely failed Cold War attempt to remove communism as a world threat) must guide us. The process will have to reach American society in every school, university, town hall, church, news outlet, political party, judicial, financial and military institution, etc etc). In many ways will be reminiscent of America rebuilding after the civil war.
Each of us will have to commit to contributing to this effort, if we are sincere about defeating the enemy.
