It seems that the car is now driving you, rather than you driving the car. I have no issue with fewer written articles since it takes me all week to listen to your 2 shows. While pleasing an audience keeps the audience, it can also kill the "performer". Take time to figure out what is your BEST and do that. I want you around for a long time with quality work. (And now I may have time to read all 483 Devolution articles....😄) Thank you for all you do.....and give Mrs Bright a big hug for putting up with all of this....and you...😉.
I am not afraid to accompany you on a walk in the Strange Woods. You are a Divergent Thinker who willingly shows us the sometimes convoluted Schematic, and who stops to smell the roses on the way to the destination. The secret to most dishes is in the condiments. Carry on, stylish Warrior!

Those of us who happened upon you your posts and stayed (you were the 1st I subscribed to) will use what you’ve already revealed, the excellent tools to assess, and the anticipation of what you bring next to the war in your exceptional writing skills will be here when you can touch out. So many, including most in my family, are viewers vs readers, so I, too, am a bit of an outsider because of my love of reading. After reading this post, I am delighted that you are recalibration your intellectual capital and focusing your available energy on providing more Righteous Russia and The Master treatises. Few have your ability to articulate the macro view that keeps us from getting lost in the minutia. One of the beauties of Defected is your macro and Kyle's micro offering profound learning to your whole audience... no matter which plane they are most comfortable in. In summary, love the balance you bring to the shows but crave your deep written insights, even more. In a sea of information, I find it difficult to keep up with all of the content from this community. Thankfully, we have the technology where I can be alerted whenever you release a new piece of writing. The best writing comes organically, not under a deadline, and it's crafted with care, not speed. The frenetic pace of these times does not need any more play-by-play commentary. It needs great writers like you to slow us down, calm our minds, and allow us a moment to reflect and understand. Thank you for your work.

Nice to hear about the recalibration. For such a creative and sophisticated mind, it is good to allow the flexibility, so what news transpires you are at the ready. I've lived in Mrs. Bright's position before as the emotional supporter and always was glad to be 'in' on the scoop. I'm glad to see you recognize the importance of that role. Times will become more intense as we can all feel the drum beats intensifying. I like the strength in the posts and have noticed an active voice there. It's so easy to get sucked into that news cycle via your helpfulness, when suddenly instead of the original intent, it turns into some regular stifling chore. Tigers are meant to be free in the jungle. Good thinking as always.
I bequeathed the Spirit of the Giant Sequoias to you (3000+years old), as I used to camp there in CA and they remind me so much of Tolkien, therefore you. If anyone needs a way to help in your wanderings, I used the Victory Gardens in WWII as a way. People like me would rather garden, even if now hydroponically in my new small apartment (having escaped from Cali lol). I'm no longer a PTA parent or care to hound my Congressman. I am not implying a vegan diet here. My mom grew up on a farm and always tells me "to put food on the table". Homegrown tastes so good and now that spring is here, it's time for planting and growing. Besides animals sometimes will eat the crops. Bugs too lol.
I like your ideas on output. Makes good sense. Cuz, ya know, there's so little going on these days... Not sure how you contain you exuberance to write with so many actual events hitting the streets and the seeding going on behind and afore them... et AL.
You're being guided by a much higher power. Continue to follow that lead as it is apparent to me at least that this is exactly what you’ve been doing and what's lead you to the revelations and insights in your work. May it not long be a mere side-gig.
Oh and happy Mother's Day to the Brilliant Mrs. without whom things would be quite different on our side of this literary fence and on your side as well I'll bet...
