I am a fan of Stephan King's writing, although his politics and world view are the antithesis of mine. I find most people dismiss him as a hack writer of sensational stories and I do my best to disabuse them of that opinion and point them towards 'Lisey's Story' or 'The Dark Tower' series. There are paragraphs and even chapters of his books that I would put up against any writer of the 20th century. As far as our war of stories, we seems to string together a pretty darn narrative of our own. Thank you for the stellar article.
