Isn't it interesting that at the deepest level there is a certain honesty that is inevitable amongst such ego floundering: "Woke" is not "AWAKE". I hope you do find some fun in the inevitable downfall of Woke - if anything, for me, it is like watching a toddler rebellion implode in frustrated tears and stamping feet. I kind of want to comfort them - and to burst out laughing in their faces, all at the same time. Real world consequences though - I get it.... Still giggling though.
As far as woke entertainment, our TV’s have been turned off for two years. I used to binge series on HBO and Netflix. Now, awake to the programming occurring, I can’t watch anything. The non-stop pharmaceutical commercials and fake news, brutal and over sexualized shows, it’s just better to leave your head (and heart) free of the clutter. Instead I read sub-stacks and alternative news articles and the Bible. Your article is interesting, we are sure to see an about face in the next few years, your article will be a worthy snapshot of the times. Let’s hope and pray the word “offended” is forever buried and forgotten. I believe this word alone gave birth to this woke mentality.

Up until about six weeks ago, I worked in a VC backed firm. Company was due for next round of funding but that is not going to happen any time soon so they did a big layoff of which I got caught up. During all of this I managed to break my foot. When I first saw the doctor, I was still employed but was not at the follow up. He was surprised when I told him and he asked me what I thought. I said I don't think investment entities are putting their money into any company that doesn't have positive cash on the balance sheet, regardless of how great the concept. He was quiet for a bit and then responded that his brother who works for a hedge fund told him exactly the same thing and that they were pulling out of a lot of places, to include former so-called unicorns like Uber. The HR and Marketing Areas may be spinning one story, but it is not reflected in reality.
Haven’t subscribed to Netflix in over a year and half. Would be nice to see some shift in our entertainment. A change in news reporting would also be welcome. Thank God for the web for that!!! Your a delight to read so keep up the good work!
World war woke is everywhere and Americans have aWOKEn and aren't taking it anymore. I was shocked to see Amazon Prime offer The Terminal List....an EXCELLENT watch for those that haven't seen it.
