This is one soaring article that I will return to again and again! Loved it. I’m still smiling inside ear to ear. So many great analogies too. Thanks BB for being our wartime commentator! You’re the best.

Promises made, promises kept. I too, really wish folks would stop dooming so much! This movie is getting so freaking GOOD now, they are missing out on a once-in-a-world-history ascension of humanity.

BTW this article was worth reading just for the awesome Carville sketch, "smooth-brained, cynical, Orwellian tapwater goblin" alone. 😂😂😂

Haha much appreciated, Sarah.

Sometimes I verge on the poetic ... but sometimes, you just have to call a spade a space, and a tapwater goblin a tapwater goblin.

Yes. Carville. He married a famous Republican pundit and the two of them together had quite an entertaining/nauseating Uniparty comedy/tragedy act for a while. Weird times.

This morning I was prompted to reflect on the way God created me. He MADE me opinionated yet empathetic. He MADE me forthright, passionate and outgoing. I LOVE THIS business of sorting out the info war. My current goal however is to balance this ebullience with sharing less, and listening more. With patience and listening, I am hearing the murmurs of dawn.

Once again as I try to absorb your musings, I am thankful that I watched Defected this morning, so I could follow your train of thoughts without being derailed and distracted by my own conclusions about spiritual matters completely disconnected to the more tangible world you monitor and pontificate upon. My problem, whether by choice or compulsion, is to spend an inordinate amount of time absorbing the spiritual/culture wars out of curiosity and perhaps a tad of self preservation, a human proclivity given the admonition to walk and be led by the Spirit. Hence, thank you for taking the time to summarize the recent deluge of narratives and deployments that are flooding the zeitgeist with incessant “news” (Never Ending Warfare Stories) that must be weighed and measured with at least a discerning appreciation of God’s ultimate PLAN for the created order.

With that in mind and not having the time to elaborate extensively, let me present this simple conclusion I came to after a weekend focusing on God’s Word and contemplating the Biblical/Hebrew calendar and the imminent celebration of the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost in light of the Creator’s sovereignty over time, space, and matter.

In eternity past before ANYTHING was created, God who IS LOVE had a thought that could only be satisfied by bringing everything that exists into existence. In so doing, throughout eternity future, everyone whoever lived and had conscientious understanding had a choice to either embrace the natural orderliness of the creation, or by God’s grace, be led to comprehend His ways, promises, and covenants through what has been preserved in the oracles down through the ages.

Therefore, whether you are an Adam, Noah, Abraham, David, Isaiah, Cyrus, Trump, or Burning Bright, you have been foreordained to perform your specific function at a moment in time, in order for the Author of History to accomplish His will. Ironically, and somewhat paradoxically, this is all done through “free will” choices that reflect and reinforce the CHOICE the Heavenly Father made to share His essence with what He created.

For further reading and contemplation, try reading Isaiah 45 which summarizes what I can only scratch the surface about.

Keep up the illuminating written and spoken work your communicating produces. I pray it will be appreciated by far more than the Badlands community of truth seekers because you choose to be used!!! 🙏❤️

It's funny, I wouldn't say I focus on the tangible, but I get what you're saying.

I'm obsessed with stories and narrative, which I think comes directly from spirit.

Thank you for reading, Hue.

The mix of free will and destiny/meaning/purpose is absolutely magical to contemplate. I love paradoxes.

Great post, we only went partially the wrong way before heading back to a more direct route. I didn't even have to look up any words in the middle of your article. There are so many "distractions" it's at times difficult to understand the real lesson in all the chaos. Chaos creates it's own results and the universe works on the chaos theory. We therefore need to learn to embrace the chaos, flow with the chaos to achieve our direction and goal. Chaos therefore is the only constant we can embrace. Love is the tool we can use to remain calm within the chaos. Walking your day in Love is the essence of remaining calm, while the chaos of the storm reaks havoc all around you. Smile calmly and embrace the love within the chaos. At least that's the message I got out of your article... Keep on keeping on... Peace...

Well said, Grow. Thanks for reading.

Chaos has a negative connotation, but it doesn't have to be. Chaos breeds creation. Creation can breed stability and glory.

Thanks for this BB! You have written what my spirit has been telling me for the past month. The Trump tide has turned, and there’s no going back. The “guilty” did not bother me because it was and will remain exactly what was supposed to happen. That the DS & cohorts are shocked by the reaction, ie $200 million in 3 days, only goes to show they are out of ammo. The only thing they have left are acts of desperation, which may be terrible but will fail. In 79-80 I was a staunch liberal, but the Reagan Revolution was in plain sight, even on the streets of Berkeley where I lived and worked - I watched the tide turning even as it is in plain sight (should be)now. Thanks for another great one.

Brilliant, as always!!! I love watching the celebrity class crap their pants about Trump. Have you seen that (unintentionally) funny TikTok video compiled of a bunch of celebrities saying ridiculous stuff about Trump? Like we shouldn’t give nuclear power to a guy whose tagline is “you’re fired”? You watch it and it feels surreal. Like is anyone gullible enough to buy this stuff anymore?

And Dr. Phil trying to convince him not to be vindictive was a blatant admission that Trump is going to win, but that everyone in our celebrity class, maybe even Dr. Phil himself, are going to be exposed for the world they have participated in. Whether because of association or participation, a good portion of our celebrities are running scared of what’s coming. And they should be. And the last-minute attempt to ingratiate themselves with and influence Trump feels like the Nazi guards who tried to show compassion at the end, hoping they could be spared the fallout of what was coming.

I told more normie-style family recently - who are Trump fans but don’t dig too deep - who were a little depressed about the conviction to relax. We’re watching a movie. An attitude of zen I attribute in no small part to you and the badlands crew. Thank you for such an invaluable gift. :)

The celebrity class has undergone a fairly rapid collapse in the Collective Mind. It seems slow to us, but it's honestly changed quite a bit in just under a decade.

A long time ago, [their] plan to set America adrift from its founding values and virtues in a distructive and disruptive undertow current of [their] own making has led, in our times, to the shores of The Great Awakening! It is an amazing phenomenon to grasp with the mind, heart, and soul…The Art of War…the Art of Winning…Bigly❤️🇺🇸🦅🕊

Thank you BB!

One of the bigger truths that if/when I live it out consistently manifests significant benefits: "In other words, if you're playing by the enemies' rules, it doesn't matter that you're playing against them."

All that BB and his friends have taught me over the last few years has made me respect what DJT represents - and whatever network that stands behind him, or maybe he stands behind, as well. (I did not vote for him in 2016, I wrote-in Ben Carson...go ahead - throw rotten vegetables my way! I did, however, in 2020 and will in 2024.)

***

History is filled with well-meaning masses backing what they believe to be the opposition to the enemy and "the enemies' rules"; yet who would unwittingly play from the other side of the current game board...by the enemies' rules. For example, Daniel Kahneman, uncovered the "law of small numbers" and other rules of influence, rules that he warned should not be used politically. But, as it ended up, he was playing at the enemies' board. Those very rules were then used to do exactly what he didn't want done: manipulating people to believe a "lie" as demonstrated by Cass Sunstein as the administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs under Obama.

And there are times when, in playing the enemy's game and by his rules, what is pronounced a victory is actually a massive defeat. Historically, I believe that the decision to make Christianity the official religion of Rome (whether in 323 or 381 AD - depending on your perspective) precipitated a significantly tragic outcome for the people of God and society in general. (BTW - the same can be said of most aspects of the "Reformation".) Because the "game" itself became rigged. It was the doctrine of Balaam magnified a thousand-fold!

If, for "consistency of metaphor's" sake, we play a game by a different set of rules - refusing to even step up to the enemy's board - Whose rules will govern? For example: if we all recognize that kindness is "good", that does not mean that we all agree on what kindness looks like. SO Whose definition overrides?

OR maybe more to the point - if not the enemies' game, then Whose?

As C.S. Lewis posits: Truth to be Truth cannot be subjective, and therefore cannot be a product of our own making.

Good versus Evil is winnable (that is not my opinion, but God's - which makes it fact). It is a promise that will be realized only when we are correct in how we define "good" - meaning that our definition aligns with the Truth that is not of our own making. Otherwise good and evil remain subjective, and the game being played is the wrong one.

So, we may all agree that we should avoid playing by the enemies' rules; can we all agree on Whose game we should be playing? Time will tell!
