Never in my lifetime (7 decades) has it ever been more relevant, necessary and important to express in words the complexities, contradictions and opinions of so many than now. Words matter and how they are strung together matters. This post is exquisite as you address the overall much needed, heart centred, soul searching picture that can unite us.......the common ground in that complexity. Thank-you for this sublime expression. Some have expressed its lengthly presentation......my response is....so what? In this day and age and the tendency for sound bites, I am grateful for the long read which can express what WE have all been experiencing relentlessly.....especially in the last four years. Personally I prefer, the in-depth presentation. Better than sound-bytes that dominate most sensationalized narratives out there.

Me? I am only 1 year younger than DJT, he and I grew up in the same historical era, but in vastly different worlds. He the son of privilege in brash New York, me the first born to a father who was a Marine in the Pacific in WWII and saw the flag rise on Iwo Jima. He came home and never wanted to pack his bags to leave this continent. I did some overseas traveling and understand the world before I married. But both of us have deep patriotism ingrained in us, So do most people born after the Big Band era. It had slowly eroded, until MAGA came along. You young people on Badlands are younger generations than I. I applaud your efforts. I listen to people working as a local committee person. I got to know people who saw the world as we do, some older folks who knew the world I knew, and young ones like you all, who value our Declaration of Independence and Constitution with the Bills of Rights. We know we have a Republic if we can keep it. Up in Boston you have another part of the Revolution that formed this country. We all came together in Philadelphia. ‘Why’ (or, why not) might just be the catalyst for the awakening movement. A ‘why’ child myself who raised one ‘why’ child of two, it occurs to me that questions are key to the actions needed. Your post reaffirms why you were the first I subscribed to. You bring the fresh and very questioning mind of youth, but with a deeper understanding rare among those of your age.
You bring some good points to light; primarily the fact that this, in the end or the beginning, is not a finite war between good and evil. This is an infinite war because evil is not totally defeated until God’s assigned time for the evil one is done. Until that point, mankind will battle to some extent with the evil influence. Evil attracts those who will take the easy way out; that is a characteristic of fallen man. Therefore, it will always require active awareness and diligence to truth to maintain whatever we are able to build....to return to our Constitutional Republic roots. To date, in a fallen world, this has been the best political system for all of its citizens and we’ve only been able to keep it reasonably well for a couple hundred years. We humans will always be able to discern lies better than ‘truth’ and that’s a keep point from many of your posts.
You’ve noted the process is the paradigm and that’s true and political and cultural reality is and it isn’t.

Discernment is the most important lesson I have learned in the last 6 years in this movement. I agree spotting evil is easier than spotting good in this battle of good vs evil. Distinguishing between the two often becomes the test of who we really are and how we understand ourselves to that extent. Thank you BB.
Of THAT we can be certain and that is the uncertainty of it all. I live in Canada and endure the totalitarian Liberal/NDP coalition which was formed by Justin (Castro) Trudeau after the last election to secure his relevance b/c he did not get a majority government in 2021. WE have the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and this upstart has broken every part of that Charter which has eroded too much to mention here. However, it has awakened Canadians as never before. I like Tom Luongo's (Gold, Goats 'n Guns....your guy) take on this calling people "uncomfortable wolves" rather than "sheeple" as once the wolves awaken...watch out. The Trucker Convoy changed the landscape / lives / for everyone here and that shot was heard around the world.
All you mention re: education system is happening here. I say as more and more of this is played out and revealed the more the as yet comfortable wolves wake up.
I don't often disagree BB, but: "..each of us has been gifted with an innate ability to recognize lies more so than truth" - No, not really. Our capacity to recognise lies is precisely predicated, and defined, by our innate ability to recognise truth. Truth is our core, birthright, nature - actual reality. Lies are exposed by this core truth that we are. Our recognition of lies absolutely relies upon this truth, of our Truth. We all know Good, Truth, Beauty, Harmony, Love - because at heart, that is precisely what we are. What has been warped is our attachment to the world created by language - and there is both our downfall, and our ultimate salvation. Your gifts in this arena are precisely what we collectively need - more of indeed - and that is why I value you so highly right now. The Great Awakening is, ultimately - intimate and collective at the same time, and it resides in our absolute certainty and recognition of truth. Lies are the absence of Truth, just like shadows are the absence of Light. In the end, there is only Light.
