Yes, indeed, how each new (whatever) is greeted by the powers that be! My Dad loved the early writers like him and my brother and I now have his books.... So many of these guys were so visionary!
Use of the Overton Window by the dark forces implies that 1) they have the ability to know the boundaries of the window at any given time; 2) they have the means and ability to use that known window to deploy narratives to move it in the desired direction; and 3) they can accurately measure the results of their deployment by remapping the boundaries of the window. To see how this is done, I refer to something Jordan Peterson said. If you are a tyrant who is trying to moved the boundaries of public sentiment (Overton's window) you push the boundaries until you encounter resistance, then retreat and wait. But you never retreat to the prior boundary. In this way, gradually over time you advance your agenda, or in your terms, map the changing boundaries of the Overton Window. We have many recent examples of this: Bud Light, the transgender movement, parental rights, Drag Queen Story hours, etc. They accomplish the manipulation by testing the waters with deployments from which they retreat, believing they have made a net gain. But perhaps they don't realize that the Truth movement is rolling over their perceived gains.

Oh, Fearless Tiger! Once again you have exceeded your previous level of educating your readers! There are so many gems in this article that it’s impossible to pick a favorite. Using the two examples of the Overton Goalpost just solidified the steps in my mind and I will be able to better understand where ‘they’ are in their retreat and to effectively use it. THANK YOU! At the risk of repeating myself again, God has truly gifted you with an exceptional mind that we all benefit from greatly, as your positions in this post demonstrate. Reading your article brought a saying to my mind several times: what goes around comes around. We are accelerating AND escalating so much that the timeframe for the enemy to reach the ‘coming around’ point is measurably shorter.
Your point about what we are fighting for trumping fighting against the enemy is the important step for all patriots. Now, the most common statement I hear from normie friends is regarding the double standard of justice. They are getting closer to realizing the truth.

Excellent piece that yields for me a nice visual of the Deep State's diminishing defenses. Each narrative they deploy is a hill with five redoubts, labeled Deny, Diminish, Qualify, Distract and Admit. As the Truth breaches each and then the last, they must teleport to a new hill and expend more ammunition. As you said, eventually they run out of hills and they find themselves defenseless against "those puny little ants." And we win. All at once.

I just spent 4 days with my normie family and got increasingly agitated each day until anger boiled up inside me at the denial and outright refusal to recognize anything happening outside their own lives.
This article helped me see they have retreated to their comfy place b/c to start recognizing TRUTH they begin to participate in taking down the system they rely on. I will apply this method and hopefully start to recognize small changes quietly with a smile instead of the I-told-you-so moment I not-so-secretly crave. Thanks for rescuing my weekend!

I find the concept of Overton's Goalpost conceptually similar to Arthur C. Clarke's "Law of Revolutionary Ideas" which goes like this:
