Excellent. It’s like a warm shower after being in the hot fields all day. Welcome back. Since march 2020, the Lord (of all) has had me immersed in books taking place in Russia. Robert Massie’s are mandatory, but only good prelude to Everyday Saints about monks in Soviet Russia , He Leadeth me about an American Catholic priest in slavery for over 15 years, and Saint Elizabeth the story of Alexandra’s sister converted to Russian Orthodoxy and her response to her husband, Serge, and uncle to Nicholas’ murder, one of the first before the Revolution. Thank YOU!! For carrying us through to the present in the Holy Saga that is Russia.

Tsarina Alexandra's elder sister, Elizabeth, was truly a remarkable and holy woman. Tsar Nicholas's uncle Grand Duke Serge's assassination was a terrible wake-up call.
