Hi BB. I missed that episode of The Narrative. You mentioned you discussed the "Israel" topic. Here is what I know, and have known for over 50 years. It has continually been confirmed in my mind, with much scholarly evidence.
First, the Israel nation in the middle east is an artificial construct, formed by the globalist powers after WWII. Ostensibly for a Jewish homeland. It should have been named "Judah", or Judea.
It is obviously not the Israel referred to in the Bible. Most people are under the false impression that the term Israel refers to the Jews. It does not. There were two ancient kingdoms comprised of the descendants of Jacob/Israel. One was the northern Kingdom called Israel, and the other was the southern Kingdom called Judah, with Jerusalem as its epicenter.
Judah was comprised of two of the tribes of Jacob, Judah and Benjamin. They never lost their identity, and are called Jews. The ten northern tribes went into captivity, carried away from the middle east, never returned, and lost their identity for the most part.
Jews are Israelites, but most Israelites are NOT Jews. To cut to the chase: Today there are hundreds of millions of Israelites in existence, in many countries, but mainly America, Canada, Australia, Britain, and Western European nations. You are an Israelite. I am an Israelite. President Trump is surely an Israelite.
The Biblical prophecies that refer to Israel, mainly in the books of Isaiah and Jeremiah, refer to those nations of Israelites today. They have rejected the worship of their Elohim, Yahweh, and have turned to the idols of the world, which are many. But many of us believe that Trump was raised up for a time such as this, to be a kind of rescuer of Israel, America, from the wickedness and corruption that has consumed our people and government. That is why he says he is our retribution.
As for the state of Israel - Trump moved the embassy to Jerusalem for a reason. The City of David, the City of Zion, are there, and are not to be confused with the nation/state of the Jews. The "Jew-haters" have a lack of understanding of these facts. That nation does have a "deep state" though, Mossad, that is an enemy of peace.
I've heard a lot of this background, but it's a great topic either way.
I personally definitely separate the Biblical and national Israel, but not all do.
It was refreshing to be able to engage on this topic with someone who doesn't agree with my framing in a way that was illuminating and respectful. I also think there was more common ground than not.
